I'm a senior creative designer with 30+ years of experience helping businesses look and communicate at their best.
I specialise in brand identity, digital design, and motion graphics — traditional design craft with modern digital execution. Whether you need a brand built from scratch, a design system that works across print and digital, or animation that brings your brand to life on screen, I bring strategic thinking and craft-level execution to every project.
I've worked with everyone from local startups to large multinationals — and after running my own studio for many years, I now work as a focused freelancer. That means you get senior-level thinking without the agency overhead.
Based in Northampton. Available for freelance projects and agency partnerships across the UK and remotely.
I’ve been involved in hundreds if not thousands of design projects over the years from simple logo designs for local companies and start-ups to complete brand identities, sales & marketing literature and digital content for large multinationals in a multitude of different industries.
The majority of my day to day work is now branding, website design / build and motion graphics.
I use the full Adobe Creative Suite and have excellent technical knowledge of using them for both digital content and print design. I was a total Figma convert from the early days so use this for all web design and prototyping.
Website build is usually Wordpress and more recently Framer for its ease of use and Figma compatibility.
Having freelanced for many years I'm more than happy running a complete client project from initial discussion through to final delivery or, equally, collaborating as part of a team working with external design / marketing agencies on a day or project basis.
When I'm not working I can usually be found somewhere up a mountain – walking, mountain biking or snowboarding or maybe stuffing my face with a cinnamon bun and a good coffee.
